The CMAS Plus Accounts Payable Module is designed to automate the bill paying
process and present accurate information about current and outstanding debts.
This module tracks what is owed, to whom it is owed, when to take advantage of
discounts, and the amount of retainage to withhold. Expenses recorded with a
single entry in accounts payable can be used to generated checks to pay vendors
or consultants, and to provide the cost data necessary for project management
and job cost history files. Partial payments are supported by this module as
well as the ability to void checks and place vendors on credit hold. Detailed
vendor history reports can be printed which categorize all vouchers into aging
columns of 30, 60, 90 and over, and retainage. The Accounts Payable Module
works with the other CMAS Plus modules to help monitor material expenses and
other costs to effectively manage cash flow.
